What is a virtual run?
A virtual run is a run where the participant runs locally on their own time and submits their time online. Although virtual runs have been around for awhile they have grown in popularity during the covid-19 pandemic when it became unsafe to race in groups. The idea is that you run by yourself on a safe route with limited interruption.
Where does this event take place?
This is a virtual run. You pick a local and safe route where you can run a fast "race". Please note you must follow all local laws and restrictions. You are also welcome to run on  treadmill.
How do I submit my race results?
You will submit your race results online from within the RunSignUp platform. Instructions will be emailed when the series starts. Please note since this run is virtual we rely on people to be honest when submitting results.
What happens if I am already registered for the 2020 Love Run?
You will automatically be transferred in to the new Virtual Love Run at the same distance you originally signed up for.  You can also find more details here.

Can I get a refund?

Entry fees are non-transferable and are non-refundable.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

Can I walk the event?

Yes, you can run, walk, or skip!

Where and When is Packet Pick-Up?

Packet Pick Up will take place over two weekends, one Jan 30th and the second February 28th.  Location and times will be announced once it is confirmed.

Can I pick up someone else's packet for them?

Yes, you can but please bring a copy of their ID.

Where can I find results?

Online results will be posted at http://loverunwestlake.com/ throughout the month, so check back often to see where you place on the leader board.
